The Questions You Are Likely to Ask:

What condition is the shipping container in? Does it show any rusting?
The used storage containers have working cargo doors and wood floors. The outsides of the containers show the letters of the shipping line. There will be visible surface discoloration but no rust holes. Upon request, we can paint the container the color of your choice, which improves the container’s overall condition.
Is it true that there are no holes in the cargo container?
Our steel storage containers are watertight; we inspect them to make sure of this. In the unlikely event that a pinhole problem is discovered, we will send you repair tape.
Is the container lockable as it stands right now?
A latch and a lock-box can be welded onto the double doors for use with a padlock to make the storage box secure.
Will Ample Storage handle delivery of the storage container?
Ample Storage works with outside trucking companies. A delivery can be made on a tilt-bed truck, where the cargo container slides off the truck, or on a flat-bed truck, where you need a crane or a forklift to unload the container from the truck. We can provide rates for delivery to your chosen location; please provide us the delivery-site zip code and we will reply with a price quote.
Does Ample Storage recommend that we visually inspect this container ourselves before purchase?
Cargo containers are standardized manufactured items and we inspect them to determine general condition. Not all depots are open to the public, so while you may not be able to come to inspect a container, you may be able to request that a third-party survey company be permitted to inspect the containers for you. Occasionally our inventory includes containers that have wave damage or stained floors; these containers may be available at lower rates. If you’re interested in learning more about these opportunities, give us a call.
Can we have roll-up doors or windows installed in the storage container?
Yes. There are two sizes of roll-up doors available (6’x8’ and 8’x8’). Windows are made of shatterproof material. Security bars are also an available option. At your request we can install panic hardware, and have done this for numerous schools, universities, and hospitals. When you’ve organized your ideas and have a good sense of what the finished container should look like, we can schedule the modifications for you.
